The European Union Support to Higher Education in ASEAN Region (SHARE) Programme will conduct its 15th Policy Dialogue from July 27 to 28, 2022 in a hybrid form through the Hopin platform and in-person in Ha Noi, Viet Nam.

The theme of Policy Dialogue 15 is “Envisioning the Future of a Common Higher Education Space in Southeast Asia.” The dialogue is designed and delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Training of Viet Nam, the ASEAN Secretariat, SEAMEO RIHED, the ASEAN University Network, the UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education, and other members of the ASEAN Working Group on Higher Education Mobility (AWGHEM).

The two-day discussion will explore how innovations and initiatives contribute to the digital transformation of higher education in Southeast Asia. It will examine the structures and resources required to ensure the sustainability of the regional higher education space in Southeast Asia, and consider future opportunities for the higher education community globally. The event will see the launch of the Roadmap on the ASEAN Higher Education Space 2025 and its implementation plan.

Various higher education stakeholders from across Southeast Asia will gather together in Ha Noi, Viet Nam, to chart a course for the future of a common higher education space in the region. We hope you can join us for this interesting series of discussions.
