Campus France organised the first Credit Transfer System (CTS) capacity-building workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 24-25 October 2016. Within the SHARE consortium, Campus France is tasked with the development of ASEAN and ASEAN-EU Credit Transfer Systems (SHARE Result Areas 3a and 3b).
Over one and a half days, capacity-building training was delivered on the SHARE online Platform and the Mobility Tools to 28 participants from 25 universities (from 8 ASEAN countries), including 11 HEIs from CLMV countries, and 1 representative from AUN. Two representatives from the Embassy of France in Kuala Lumpur were present for the opening of the workshop. The EP-Nuffic team also had the opportunity to present the SHARE Scholarship Scheme (SHARE Result Area 3c) during the workshop.
Further capacity-building workshops will be organised throughout 2017 for HEIs in ASEAN, as well as for the European HEIs that will join the SHARE Mobility Scheme. The capacity-building sessions for European universities aim not only to present to them the tools developed for ASEAN HEIs, but also to find bridges between the two regions in terms of international mobility and credit recognition.
